This is an article I wanted to publish for a while: movies about Boston, or happening in Boston. For the movie geek, some of them are in Cambridge, where Harvard University and the MIT are, but seen from the rest of the world, it doesn’t matter so much. I love watching movies (or read!) about a place I live in, it makes the place feels different, more “inhabited”. What did I learn about Boston by watching all these movies? That Boston is snob and that’s a place for intellectuals… though that there are also many immigrants living in difficult neighborhoods, with gangsters and dirty cops. I saw the cold winters in Boston, and I was able to appreciate the twisted Bostonian accent…
