I always bring a lot of books when I go on vacation. This year, I’ll also bring some audiobooks, that’s a first. It doesn’t mean that Manu and I won’t talk, but we’ll spend at least 4 to 5 days just driving, and even though I’m sure that American landscapes are great, sometimes, you just need some book comfort to be entertained. I’ve picked 8 books, both American & French on the road trip theme.

Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain. Not a road trip, more like a river trip, the famous Mississippi. But this is a road trip if you consider than the characters are on the path for change.
Paper Towns, John Green.
On the road, Jack Kerouac.
The Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck

The Road, Cormac McCarthy.
Les Détectives sauvages, Roberto Bolano.
Le ravissement de Britney Spears, Jean Rolin.
The Canterbury Tales, Chaucer.
Thanks Charles and Hannah for your recommendations!
