Asian food in the South End – Myers+Chang

We’re glad because our friend JB from San Diego is visiting us. The city is gorgeous right now, with the colors of the fall foliage and an incredibly sunny and warm weather. For Saturday brunch, we avoid the traditional egg+pancakes and go to Myers+Chang in the South End. I haven’t been there in a while and one of my best friend waits tables there. This is not a new place, this is probably a place that every body is Boston knows about. But why going somewhere else? The cuisine here is creative, flavorful and of course the service is awesome.

We got there at 1pm and surprise surprise, there’s no waiting list. It’s easy to order: we just have to check items on a menu. It’s also dangerous: we pick a lot of stuff. But our waitress assures us that the plates are small: “it’s dim sum!”

All right. We love the Brussel sprouts, the edamame guacamole, the dumplings, and the pork bun. Manu takes the time to film and take picture before we eat it all.
