Thursday around noon, we went out of Yosemite Park. We had a long road to our next step: The Death Valley. We decided not to stop to the ghost-town of Bodie, up North, but we did stop at Mono Lake. This large saline lake is famous for the scenic limestone formations. This is a vey ancient lake, more than 760 000 years old. The day we went there was very hot, we are in the middle of a desert, it was silent – even if the lake is full of flies and migratory birds. We had a nice walk along this mysterious lake.
A short video to show you as it is over there. The music, it’s a German artist called…
