Wednesday. We stayed on a Bnb in Port Angeles, a remote city in front of Canada – it’s possible to cross the bay to go to the islands. Our room was on a hill, above the harbor: tons and tons of wood carried by huge cranes, it was pretty noisy and impressive. The town seemed sad to me, maybe because of the rain and the mist in the morning, and this impression that we’ve reached the end of the world – though the boats in the harbor go all around the world. Anyaway, we left Port Angeles early in the morning to go to Olympic National Park.
