Saint Patrick’s Day is a big thing here in Boston, where everyone finds that he or she has deep Irish roots. It’s even more true in South Boston, Southie. We were invited to a brunch with green bagels, green quiche, guacamole and of course a celery in a Bloody Mary.
Once the brunch was done, we watched the parade on the street, tried to get some candies and a flag. We went back home walking in this neighborhood that we don’t know at all, though it looks pretty and it’s by the sea. Hope that we’ll be back here before next St Patrick’s Day.
