Monday morning, I got a few text messages from friends in France: it seems that the French media are worried for a storm coming up on the East Coast. It’s fairly common here in January and February – and probably March and April too – but this storm is supposed to be a bigger deal. During the afternoon, I receive a few alerts and finally there’s a weather alert: no train, flights cancelled, no restaurants or business open tomorrow. It’s a snow day!
