When I said to my friends that I was going on a team building trip for 3 days, they were surprised that I was so happy about it. Team building may sound like the dullest thing ever, we pictured silly group activities and awkward moments with your coworkers. But I was looking forward to it, because (1) the people I’m working with are cool, (2) it happened in the sunny Arizona, which is pretty cool coming from New England, (3) any reason to travel is a good reason. Besides, I feel like I was leaving on vacation with some friends. Was I right to think like that?
